A Blog Better Than Mine
My girlfriend always brags about having been in both Bosnia and Croatia growing up. Well, I've been in both, Sarina :).
Between kicking cancer's ass and watching The Real Housewives of NYC, Sarina decorates her corner of the web with interesting and humorous images and media. Check out a blog much better than mine at http://iamboskro.tumblr.com/.

Bears Vs. Cars
I was Stumbling around today and came upon this little diamond in the rough:
Why wasn't this is the running for best short film at the Oscars, eh?

Photo of the Day--er, well, maybe not.
I was planning on doing one big write up of my Spring Break Adventure to SXSW in Austin, but that would be totally fucking boring. Well, to be honest, it'd be hilarious, controversial, entertaining, and perhaps, educational. But I'm up to my balls in lots of work I won't be getting paid for, and I desperately need money (or maybe I'm just procrastination some homework...).
As such, I'll posting random photos with an explanation and possibly a story.
Remember a few posts back when I said Riley would make a good politician except for his bathroom antics? I should have defined 'bathroom' as, "any place in which Riley has the urge to urinate." Turns out it was my car this time.

My Bikes
I'm a little late, but I got a bike check posted over on Dig, so go check out the 250L I've been riding for the past month.
Also, I put together this old TRLS 250 for a trail romper.

Neon Beige
I started off today with a peaceful drive to Dobbins Peak to stare at rocks, dirt and cacti, which is actually kinda fun. I revel in the idea that what we now consider hobbies and stress-relieving activities, like hiking, camping, etc., were deadly feats of survival for our ancestors. I can spend my day in the sun (thanks, sun screen) on a desert mountain for no apparent reason other than I want to (thanks, bottled water). Hmm. Do you think our ancestors would be proud of us, or just plain pissed?
The third picture is of the elusive Desert Gypsy, who spends its days in caves and abandon dwellings like the one above. Immediately following this photo, she sunk her teeth into my fore-arm and tried to gnaw through it. Luckily I was equipped with bear-mace and escaped with minor flesh wounds. Watch yourselves out there.

Drew Hoss Edit on ESPN.com
I edited a video of Drew Hoss a few weeks ago and it's finally made its way online. Check it ooot.
Spring Break, wooo!
I don't think I'd feel bad for punching a six year-old in the mouth. I mean, I'd feel some remorse fifteen minutes after the incident, but I'm sure whatever she did was deserving of the enamel shattering blow. Were there no law involved, I wouldn't feel a lick of regret. In fact, I might even make a career out of it. And I'll tell you why.
She'll grow more teeth, of course.
And that bit of fiction has nothing to do with the initial reason for this post, which is this: I'm posting the first of the iPhone pictures I took from my Spring Break Vacation Experience. First up is this shot of my Canadian friend and America enthusiast, Riley. He loves pizza, and he loves all parts of the pizza equally (such a non-discriminating fellow would make a fine politician, but his restroom antics might cast a gloomy shadow on that campaign). Speaking of which, I've made a cameo on his fine blog, Christian Homeowner.
BMXmDB
I'm loving this new BMX Move Database thing. I've already watched Nowhere Fast, Style Cats and Roger's Garage today. I'm especially psyched to see Style Cats online, since Luc-E does a lot of new school street moves over 15 years ago. Be sure to watch Roger's Garage as well. It seems like it was filmed over the course of a few weeks, but the riding is unbelievable, and it was made almost 20 years ago!
Also, I returned from my Spring Break vacation to Austin, TX the other day, but I've been lazy with uploading pictures. I have plenty of entertaining immortalizations to share, but Im gonna leave that for tomorrow, or whenever...

The new Ratboy
A couple posts down, I'm pictured with my childhood hero, Ratboy. He's a legend and irreplaceable, no one will argue that, but I think the modern day equivalent might be Troy Merkle. I've watched this vid so much I figured I should just post it here.

A bunch of extra clips=A new web video
I've amassed a huge pile of extra clips that have no other use than to be put on the internet. So here it is. I plan to have two more edits done in the next couple days/weeks. It all depends...

Angie the Anti-Theist
Just noticed this quote from a blog I just stumbled upon, Angie the Anti-Theist:

TECH RAT IS ALIVE
There was a fundraiser last night for Sara Cowling--wife of Kore owner, Ryan. She must undergo a second surgery for a brain tumor discovered in 2008. Like many Americans, she doesn't have health insurance, so the bill is going to be gigantic.
The AZ bike community gathered together in the Kore parking lot for some riding, drinking and a good cause. Among the regulars was the legendary Ratboy. If you don't know about the Tech Rat, get familiar:

Tulsa has spots!
On the way to my parents' house I stopped off in Tulsa for some riding. This video was posted up about a week ago, but hell, here it is again anyway.
Also, I'll be heading south again come Tuesday to get my ride on for the remainder of winter break. Hit me up if you're in AZ and want to ride.
